Recently, a batch of integrated charging and swapping tractors equipped with the Magic Box CTB-400 vehicle-storage shared battery system of Qiyuan Xin Dongli were successfully delivered in Xinjiang. The 400-kWh high-performance battery system of this tractor is equipped with the 324Ah large-capacity "vehicle-storage shared" battery cells of Yuanhang Jinli. With the battery configuration of 2P192S, the volumetric energy density is increased by 25%, and the overall layout of the battery system is optimized, enabling long-range operation under heavy loads and providing efficient and reliable operation support for complex working conditions such as long-distance transportation.
The integrated charging and swapping tractors delivered this time, with their highly integrated advanced battery technology and combined with the national layout of the charging and swapping stations of Qiyuan Xin Dongli, provide truck drivers with more efficient and convenient transportation solutions. The battery replacement can be completed in just 3 to 5 minutes, effectively solving the problems caused by the high cost of battery purchase and the long charging time. This not only alleviates the range anxiety of most truck drivers but also significantly improves the transportation efficiency.
According to the actual sales data of traffic accident liability compulsory insurance, in February, 7,991 pure electric heavy trucks (including battery swapping and charging types) were sold in China. Among them, battery-swapping heavy trucks accounted for 32.70% of the total sales of pure electric heavy trucks, and the sales volume increased by 242% year-on-year. With the increasing demand for the scale and quantity of new energy charging and swapping station facilities across the country, battery-swapping heavy trucks have unlimited development potential.
